Before They Pass Away

In 2009 Ethnic photographer Jimmy Nelson decided to set off on a trail around the world in order to capture the beauty of 31 tribes and ethnic groups that are slowly losing their unique visual identity. The result is ‘Before They Pass Away’, a photography project encompassing books, art-prints, gallery exhibitions and last but not least, a website that shows a selection of Jimmy’s spectacular images, highlights each individual tribe that was visited and expands on Jimmy’s journeys. I was very honored to be asked by Jimmy’s team to take care of the architecture and visual design. As featured on CNN, New York Times, Huffington Post, Gizmodo and numerous other sites and publications.
